I am a male, my waist is 31-32 but I went with a large instead of a medium which works out perfectly because I like to layer up and I don't feel like it's too tight, but it's definitely not loose. <br /> <br />Like I said, I don't have much experience with cycling, I wear this jacket mainly for commuting to work (5 miles each way). So, if you are a daily bicycle commuter, and you need a jacket for the fall weather, this is perfect. I will also try this jacket out in the winter, but I have a feeling a regular winter coat will be my ultimate choice. So far so good!

I have worn it as the final layer for riding in very chilly rides (around 30 deg) and it blocks the wind really well. It won't help a whole lot with the actual cold (it's REALLY thin) but it works great for blocking wind. I have also not ridden in the rain yet, so I am not sure how it would fair with rain protection. It also folds up into it's own pocket so you can easily remove it mid-ride and put in a jersey pocket. Worth the investment IMO. Great Quality, Lightweight Cycling Jacket
